1. A worn-down suspension <\/strong>produces a noise much like the kind you hear when sitting down on a piece of furniture with rusty springs. The noise occurs mainly when you drive over bumps or potholes.<\/p>\n 2. A worn or loose drive belt <\/strong>produces a noise ranging from a barely audible squeak to an ear-shattering squeal.<\/p>\n 3. If it becomes damaged, your clutch release bearing <\/strong>could make rattling noises while you\u2019ll vehicle is at a standstill.<\/p>\n 4. A punctured tire <\/strong>makes a dull rubbing noise. If you aren\u2019t able to hear the noise, you\u2019ll be able to detect this issue another way: your car will noticeably pull to one side.<\/p>\n
