What should I do?<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\nFirst off, the battery light doesn\u2019t mean there\u2019s any immediate danger, so don\u2019t panic. Pull over once it\u2019s safe to do so, and assess the possible causes. Have you left your headlights or radio on for too long without running the engine? Is it cold out? Has it been a long time since you started your car? Don\u2019t worry, the battery might simply be drained. All you need to do is drive for a few kilometres and let the motor run to recharge it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
However, if this isn\u2019t the case, a fuse may have blown or there may be excessive corrosion on the battery terminals.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
